- NTL is based on pub date.
- Publishers release once per week on Friday.
- The publisher’s NTL Participation flag will be populated “P” in BP.IPS.
- Product received by Wednesday will begin releasing on Friday. If product is not received in time, the release date will move to the following Friday.
- Initial Receipt
- If the release date is in the future, the item will release on the release date and have the lock changed to “X”.
- If the release date is historic and the record is not locked with “X” or “P”, the release date will be recalculated to “next Friday”. On the next Friday release the lock will be set to “X”.
- Title Converted to PTO
- When a title on NTL is converted to PTO, and the release date is in the future, the item will release on the release date and have the lock changed to “X”.
- It is important that the historic release dates get locked so future pub date changes don’t stop movement of product.
